Joanne Gardner

Joanne Gardner, 71, of Queen City, Texas, died Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Gardner was born Oct. 3, 1946, in Camden, Ark. She was a retired medical technician with the U.S. Army Health Clinic at Red River Army Depot and a member of Victory City Baptist Church, Hooks, Texas. Survivors include her husband, Charles G. Gardner of Queen City; one son and daughter-in-law, Joseph "Joby" and Gina Lynch of Queen City; three stepchildren and one stepson-in-law, Marshall Gardner of Hamilton, Texas, Julia and Brandon Walraven of Ashdown, Ark., and Holly Gardner of Queen City; three grandchildren, Morgan Bolig, Calum Bolig and Ethan McCarthy Lynch of Texarkana, Texas; and one stepgranddaughter, Emily Walraven of Ashdown. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Chapelwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Harold Churchcill officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens.
