Robbie McKinney

Robbie Edward McKinney, 75, of Leary, Texas, died Friday, Jan. 26, 2018, at his home. Mr. McKinney was born Nov. 27, 1942, in Texarkana, Texas. He was retired from Red River Army Depot, a car racer and a member of Everett Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda McKinney. Survivors include one son, Mitch McKinney of Mississippi; two daughters, Tammy McKinney of Leary and Shalisa Rogers of Wake Village, Texas; one sister and brother-in-law, Doris and Ronald Turner of Leary; one granddaughter, Robin Moon of Leary; two great-grandchildren, Race Austin Moon and Sage McKinney Reeves of Leary; one nephew, Kenney Turner; one niece, Kellie Caskey; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. today at Chapelwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Roy Ford officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens. Online registration is at chapelwoodfuneralhome.com.
