IDABEL, Okla.—George Whittington, 74, of the Redland Community, Okla., died Monday, Jan. 29, 2018. Mr. Whittington was born March 4, 1943, in the Redland Community. He was a rancher and a member of Redland United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Kaye Whittington of the Redland Community; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Ashley Neel of Tulsa, Okla., and DeAnna Powell and Georgiana Sullivan of Ada, Okla.; two brothers, Tim Parker and Charles Whittington of the Redland Community; five grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. today at Redland United Methodist Church with the Rev. Tim Trujillo officiating. Burial will be in Redland Cemetery under direction of White Family Funeral Home.
