Bonnie Roberts

Bonnie Odell Roberts, 91, of Texarkana, died Saturday, June 30, 2018, in a local retirement community. She was born June 26, 1927, in Cass County, TX. She was retired from Red River Army Depot, and was a member of Corner Pointe Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Jack Roberts. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Kay Roberts of Texarkana, TX; one daughter and son-in-law, Joanne and Otis Akin of Marianna, FL; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Bobbie J and Rev. Harold Walls and Elna Powell of Texarkana, TX; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, W. W. (Bud) and Ima Roberts of Kilgore, TX; four grandchildren, Nathan Roberts and wife, Misty, Melissa Edwards, Angela Jackson, and Amy Hill and husband, Charles; ten great-grandchildren, Addison Blue Roberts, Oliver Roberts, J.P. Edwards, Sarah Edwards, Corbin Edwards, Mason Jackson, Marleigh Jackson, Brady Hill, Savannah Hill, and Blake Hill; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas Chapel, with the Revs. Kevin Holt, B.J. Smith and Sam Martinez officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas. The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M.
