Billy Reneau

WOLFE CITY, Texas—Billy B. "Uncle Bill" Reneau, 91, of Wolfe City died Friday, June 29, 2018, in a Carrollton, Texas, hospital. Mr. Reneau was born Feb. 2, 1927, in Caddo Mills, Texas. He was a salesperson at R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co., a funeral director's assistant at R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home, president and district chairman at Wake Village Lions Club and a member of Jernigan-Turner Post 16 America Legion and Webb Hill Country Club. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lila Mae Owens. Survivors include one brother, B.G. Reneau of Ferris, Texas; one brother-in-law and spouse, Bobby and Millo Owens of Wolfe City; and a number of other relatives. Services were 11 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church, Wolfe City, with Tim Hearn officiating. Burial was in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
