Bonnie Odell Roberts

Bonnie Odell Roberts, 91, of Texarkana died Saturday, June 30, 2018, in a local nursing home. Mrs. Roberts was born June 26, 1927, in Cass County, Texas. She was retired from Red River Army Depot and was a member of Corner Pointe Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Jack Roberts. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Kay Roberts of Texarkana, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Joanne and Otis Akin of Marianna, Fla.; two sisters, Bobbie J. Walls and Elna Powell of Texarkana; four grandchildren, Nathan Roberts, Melissa Edwards, Angela Jackson and Amy Hill; 10 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10 a.m. today at Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas, with the Revs. Kevin Holt, B.J. Smith and Sam Martinez officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas. Memorials may be made to Heritage Hospice, 4605 Texas Blvd., Texarkana, TX 75503.
