DeKALB, Texas—Cindy Lou Conley, 71, of Avery, Texas, died Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Conley was born Jan. 29, 1947, in Royse City, Texas. She was a retired insurance agent with Blue Cross/Blue Shield, former blueprint drafter and a member of Full Gospel Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond E. Conley. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Kenneth Crouch of Avery; one son and daughter-in-law, Jackie L. Jr. and Rachel Pierce of Valley Mills, Texas; two brothers and one sister-in-law, James Wesley Smith of Sherman, Texas, and Thomas Wayne and Lou Smith of DeVille, La.; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Bates Family Funeral Home with Rocky Dodson officiating. Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
