REBEKAH SIRMANS
ATLANTA, Texas—Rebekah Heath Sirmans, 80, of Queen City, Texas, died Tuesday, July 3, 2018.
Mrs. Sirmans was born July 15, 1937, in Texarkana, Texas. She was a retired librarian with Queen City High School, former elementary school teacher, a homemaker, former chaplain of Atlanta Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and a member of Cass County Retired Teacher Association and First Baptist Church, Queen City.
Survivors include her husband, John Calvin Sirmans; one daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie Joyce and Don Shirley of Atlanta; one son and daughter-in-law, Jon Stacy and Shevaun Sirmans of Cypress, Texas; three grandsons, Calin Reid Shirley of Springdale, Ark., Jordan Heath Shirley of Wesley Chapel, Fla., and Andrew Chappell Sirmans of Cypress; one granddaughter, Meghan Lyn Sirmans of Cypress; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Hanner Funeral Service with the Rev. Jim Looby officiating.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Queen City Stirred Hearts and Willing Spirits, Queen City Schools Alumni Association or a favorite charity.
