BETTIE ASHER

QUEEN CITY, Texas—Bettie Jean Asher, 88, of Hooks, Texas, died Tuesday, June 19, 2018. Mrs. Asher was born Aug. 23, 1929, in Texarkana, Texas. She was a former model for Grapette Soda advertising. She was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest Asher. Survivors include four sons, Forrest Jr.; James, Kim and Michael; two sisters, Barbara Sullivan and Belinda Keck; 10 grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Local arrangements are under direction of Queen City Funeral Home.
