WAYNE HAWKINS

Wayne Hawkins, 80, of Texarkana, Texas, died Monday, July 2, 2018. Mr. Hawkins was born June 6, 1938. He was owner of Unique Events Tours, formerly employed with Texas International Airlines, former member of Breakfast Kiwanis Club of Texarkana and a member of Samaritan's Purse Christmas Box Program and Cross View Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Lucille Hawkins of Texarkana; one son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Christal Hawkins of Texarkana; one grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Jared and Marcie Freeman of DeKalb, Texas; one granddaughter, Grace Hawkins of Texarkana; three great-grandchildren, Gracie Crain, Jasper Crain and Zack Freeman of DeKalb; and a number of other relatives. Services were July 6 at Chapelwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Kelsey Coleman officiating. Burial was in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
