Mark Bennett "Hoss" Edwards, 60, of Texarkana, Ark., died Friday, July 6, 2018. Mr. Edwards was born Sept. 19, 1957, in Texarkana, Ark. He was a retired city inspector for the city of Texarkana, Texas, a retired welding instructor at the Texarkana, Arkansas, School District, a master plumber, and a member of Masonic Lodge 341 and Highland Park Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Cindy Edwards of Texarkana, Ark.; one son, Matthew Edwards of Texarkana, Ark.; his mother, Joan Edwards of Collinsville, Okla.; two sisters, Lesa Admire of Owasso, Okla., and Kathy Edwards of Collinsville, Okla.; his mother-in-law, Betty Fallis of Texarkana, Texas; one uncle and aunt, Richard and Jeanne Edwards of Texarkana, Ark.; and a number of other relatives. Services will 10 a.m. Wednesday at Highland Park Baptist Church with the Rev. Kevin Myers officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Ark. Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. today at the church.
