Pauline Thomas

Mary Pauline Thomas, 91, of Texarkana, AR, died Sunday, July 8, 2018, in a local hospital. She was born on December 6, 1926. Pauline was a retired restaurant worker. She loved to cook, and her family fondly remembers her delicious "goulolly". She also loved to dance around with her grandchildren and play with her small dog, Scarlette. She was preceded in death by her son, Johnny Lee Killey, and her husband, Stephen Thomas. She is survived by one sister, Irene Griffin, and one brother, William Ridgway of Tucson, AZ; one daughter, Mary Irene (Sissy) and Ronald Springer; four grandchildren, Tracy Bryan Briley, Chrissy and Kyle Yates, Michelle and Rachell Springer, and Heather Nalepa; ten great-grandchildren, Cory and Simone Yates, Steven Yates, Cole Springer, Kylie Springer, Peighton Springer, and the two she helped raise, Bryan Lee Briley and Sondre and Kevin Cook. She had five great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 10 AM Thursday, July 12, 2018, at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Burial will be under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas. The family will be at their home on South Valley Drive, Texarkana, AR. Online registration is at www.texarkanafuneralhome.com.
