VICKIE BRAINERD

Vickie Jean Brainerd, age 59, of Texarkana, Texas, died Tuesday, July 10, 2018 in a local hospital. Ms. Brainerd was born July 2, 1959 in Cocoa Beach, Florida. She was an office manager for a dental office and a Baptist. More than anything, her favorite thing was to spoil her grandkids which she did so well. She was loved by many and will be missed by all. She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Berger and one brother, Phillip Berger. Survivors include her husband, Tim Brainerd of New Boston, Texas; her mother, Phyllis Davis of Troup, Texas; her in-laws, Ralph and Ellen Brainerd of Texarkana, Arkansas; her children, Amy and Tyrone Ware of Texarkana, Texas, Tim Brainerd, Jr. of Glen Heights, Texas, Ashley Brainerd and Jeff Adams of Texarkana, Texas and Angela and Riley Gill of Princeton, Texas; seven grandchildren, Jaylen Ware, Gabriel Martinez Brainerd, Abigale Arnold, Lexi Ware, Jaycee Ware, Jackson Gill, and Hudson Gill; two sisters, Ann Boggs and Debbie Parker; five brothers, John Berger, Jackie Berger, Dickie Berger, Bobby Berger, and Gary Berger; along with many other relatives. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Chapelwood Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
