CHARLES WILBURN

HOPE, Ark.—Charles Wilburn, 63, of Hope died Tuesday, June 12, 2018, in a Little Rock hospital. Mr. Wilburn was born March 4, 1955, in Chicago. He was a former security guard with a Hope electric plant, formerly employed with Robert Shores and Ernest Anderson, Columbus, Ga., and a veteran. Survivors include one daughter, Channing Wilburn of Columbus; one son, Charlie Simms of Joliet, Ill.; one brother, Thomas Wilburn of Phoenix, Ariz.; one sister, Catherine Wilburn of Hope; three nieces, Farryl Wilburn and Tammie McCorkle of New Orleans and Cindy Wilburn of Chicago; one special friend, Rose Hill of Hope; nine grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Hicks Funeral Home.
