DONALD RICH

Donald "Don" Eugene Rich, 81, of Texarkana, Texas, died Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at a local hospital. Mr. Rich was born Sept. 19, 1936, in Shreveport, La. He was retired owner of Don Rich Garage and Body Shop, attended First Baptist Church, Nash, Texas, and an Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Betty Rich of Texarkana; one daughter and son-in-law, Jeannie Rich and Rob Chandler of Houston; one sister, Janice Rich Newby of Greenville, Texas; three grandchildren, Hunter Chandler, Goldie Chandler and Earl Haas; one niece, Mary Margaret Newby of Royce City, Texas; one great-niece, Hannah Kay Schutz; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, Nash, with the Revs. Randy Hawkins and Rex Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park under direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home. Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the church.
