NEW BOSTON, Texas—Donna Jean Smith, 70, of New Boston died Wednesday, July 11, 2018, in a local hospital. Mrs. Smith was born Oct. 13, 1947, in New Boston. She was a homemaker and a member of Siloam Baptist Church. Survivors include four sons, William Wyatt IV, Richard Wyatt and Peyton Wyatt of New Boston and Jonathon Smith of Hooks, Texas; two sisters, Joyce Watson of Terry, Miss., and Julia Goodall of Fredonia, Ariz.; four brothers, Wayne Daniel of Lone Star, Texas, Boyd Daniel and David Daniel of New Boston and Dale Daniel of Duncanville, Texas; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Sand Hill Cemetery, Simms, Texas, with Steve Minter officiating. Burial will be under direction of Bates-Rolf Funeral Home.
