HOPE, Ark.—Fred Artis Jr., 54, of Hope died Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at his home. Mr. Artis was born Sept. 7, 1963. He was a member of House of Jacob Supreme Council. Survivors include one brother and sister-in-law, Elder Eugene and Elder Keturah Artis of Hope; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Lucda and Elder Simeon Ames of Hope and Elder Patricia Ann and Elder Robert Whiteside of Greenville, Penn. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Brandon's Mortuary with Elder J.C. Thurman officiating. Burial will be in Cave Hill No. 2 Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. today and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Online registration is at brandonsmortuary.com.
