De QUEEN, Ark.—Jimmie Birdsong, 75, of De Queen died Friday, July 13, 2018, at his home. Mr. Birdsong was born Oct. 4, 1942. He was former owner of Birdsong Appliance, pastor of Mount Zion Church of God, Garvin, Okla., and an Army National Guard veteran. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Faye Ann Birdsong. Survivors include his wife, Bonita Louise Birdsong; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Misti Birdsong of League City, Texas, and Jeffrey and Brandy Birdsong of Haworth, Okla.; one brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Nina of De Queen; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at First Pentecostal Church of God, De Queen, under direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home. Private burial will be held at a later date.
