Naomi Battiest Cruz

IDABEL, Okla.—Naomi Battiest Cruz, 57, of Idabel died Saturday, July 14, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Cruz was born July 26, 1960, in Los Angeles, Calif. She was a homemaker and a member of Brighter Day Baptist Church in Watts, Calif. Survivors include her husband, Evelio Cruz of Idabel; one daughter, Monica Carillo of Idabel; three special nieces, Rachel Dixon of Dierks, Ark., Petra Pisani of Bakersfield, Calif., and Angela Pisani of Idabel; one special nephew, David Battiest of San Antonio, Texas; former husband, Jesus Carillo-Gomez; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at White Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Cleland Willis officiating. Burial will be in Denison Cemetery.
