KITTIE HOOFMAN

MONTICELLO, Ark.—Kittie Spencer Hoofman, 98, of Texarkana, Ark., died Sunday, July 15, 2018, in a Texarkana hospital. Mrs. Hoofman was born Jan. 27, 1920, in Ladelle, Ark. She was retired from UAM Chancellor's Office and a member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Hoofman Jr.; and one son, Spencer Eugene "Buddy" Hoofman. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, William E. and Susie Hoofman of Texarkana; one sister, Jean Spencer Wilks of Malvern, Ark.; one grandson and granddaughter-in-law, John Aaron and Meagan Hoofman of Texarkana; one stepgranddaughter and stepgrandson-in-law, Haley Suzanne and Cody Cook of Texarkana; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. today at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lacey Cemetery. Online registration is at stephensondearman.com.
