Lawrence Clarence "Fatso" Vaughn, 65, of Texarkana died Saturday, July 14, 2018, at his home. Mr. Vaughn was born April 29, 1953, in Denver, Colo. He was retired from the Postal Service and a Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by one son, Ezekiel Franklin. Survivors include his wife, Florida Faiivae Franklin-Vaughn of Texarkana; one daughter, Rene Vaughn of Seattle; one sister, Norma Vaughn of Texarkana; and a number of other relatives. Services will be noon Friday at Haynes Mortuary with the Rev. Norris Cooley and Stan McGhee officiating. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
