BETTY SMITH

Betty Lee Smith, 89, of Texarkana, Ark., died Sunday, July 15, 2018, in Texarkana, Texas. Mrs. Smith was born May 2, 1929, in Fulton, Ark. Survivors include one daughter, Carolyn Beal of Texarkana; five sons, Harold Wilson of Dallas and Willie Smith, Robert Smith, Timothy Smith and Phillip Wilson of Texarkana; 30 grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. James Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Jordan officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery under direction of Jones Stuart Mortuary. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
