HOPE, Ark.—Charles Edward Hill, 76, of Nashville, Ark., died Friday, July 13, 2018, in a Texarkana, Ark., hospital. Mr. Hill was born Nov. 3, 1941, in Nashville. He was retired from Weyerhaeuser Company, formerly employed with Staggs Welding Company, a Little League baseball coach and a Christian. He was preceded in death by one son, Bobby Charles Hill; two stepsons, Fred Stovall and David Hughes; and two stepdaughters, Mary Hughes Nnaji and Sara Hughes Pryor. Survivors include his wife, Mildred Hill of Nashville; one daughter, Lakesha Hill Brown of Nashville; one stepdaughter, Brenda Thomas of Nashville; one stepson, Gary Hughes of Nashville; one brother and sister-in-law, David Jr. and Kita Hill of Las Vegas; six grandchildren; five nieces and nephews; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. today at Sixth Street Auditorium, Nashville. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Cemetery under direction of Hicks Funeral Home.
