IDABEL, Okla.—Kenneth "Kenny" Phelps, 56, of McCurtain County, Okla., died Sunday, July 15, 2018, in McKinney, Texas. Mr. Phelps was born Nov. 3, 1961, in Clarksville, Texas. Survivors include one son, Cole Phelps of Blossom, Texas; four daughters, Chelsey Shankles, Brittany Shankles, Crystal Herron and Courtnie Shankles; one sister and two brothers-in-law, Charlotte Phelps and Tony Boyett of Avery, Texas, and Larry Lambert of Idabel; 10 grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
