JEAN CHANLER

Doris Jean Chanler, 84, of Fouke, Ark., died Tuesday, July 24, 2018. Mrs. Chanler was born June 27, 1934, in Texarkana, Ark. She was a retired cashier with Piggly Wiggly, Kilgore, Texas, and attended Mandeville Baptist Church and Liberty City Assembly of God, Liberty City, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Edgar Chanler; two sons, Bobby Joe Chanler and Danny Ray Chanler; and one daughter, Sandra Kaye Chanler. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Reginia Chanler; one sister and brother-in-law, Cathy and James Moore; one special friend, Estelle Hartman; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Friday at Lakeview Cemetery, Longview, Texas, with the Rev. John Wahl officiating. Burial will be under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas.
