JONELL SKIDMORE

CLARKSVILLE, Texas—Jonell Skidmore, 97, of Clarksville died Thursday, July 26, 2018. Mrs. Skidmore was a retired partner with Clarksville Florist and a member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Monroe "Skid" Skidmore, in 1994; and one son, Ronald Gene Skidmore. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Donna Jo and Richard D. Sloan of Hot Springs Village, Ark.; one daughter-in-law, Joycelyn Skidmore of Clarksville; one brother, Norris Lee Ragsdill; three grandchildren and spouses, Darla and Sam Deter, Bradley Lane and Tammy Duncan and Ronald Gene "Pete" Skidmore Jr.; and three nieces and nephews. Services will be noon today at Clarksville Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Gossett officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to noon today at the funeral home.
