ASHDOWN, Ark.—Shirley Sullivan, 79, of Ashdown died Monday, July 30, 2018, in a local hospital. Mrs. Sullivan was born Aug. 4, 1938, in Prairie County, Ark. She was pre-ceded in death by her husband, James Sullivan; one son, Scott Sullivan; one daughter, Susan Sullivan; and one grandchild, Justin Matheson. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Bruce Duren of Ashdown; one sister, Margaret Purvis of Des Arc, Ark.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church with Butch Riddle officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Madden Funeral Home.
