ATLANTA, Texas—Katherine Griffin, 87, of Atlanta died Sunday, May 27, 2018, at a local nursing home. Mrs. Griffin was born Feb. 9, 1931, in Grandview, Texas. She was employed with National Insurance and a member of Antioch Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Griffin. Survivors include two sons and one son-in-law, Michael Griffin and Michael Schwarz of New York City and Todd Griffin of Atlanta; two daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Randell DeLoach of Linden, Texas, and Kim and Tim Watt of Fort Worth, Texas; three sisters, Virginia Snyder of Lorena, Texas, Molly Milner of Burleson, Texas, and Mary Burch of Crowley, Texas; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Antioch Baptist Church with Ken Guthrie officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery under direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
