ROBERT STEITLER

Robert Grant Steitler, 83, of Texarkana, Ark., died Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at his home. Mr. Steitler was born Oct. 29, 1934, in Oklahoma. He was retired owner of Robert Steitler's Dirt and Dozier Work, a member of Highland Park Baptist Church and an Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Melba Steitler. Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Delma and Bubba Green and Sandy Steitler of Texarkana; one sister, Jane Lumley of New Mexico; four grandchildren, Mike "J.J." Lemley, Tiffany Ball, Tisha Farmer and Zack Green; 12 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10 a.m. today at Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas, with the Revs. Kevin Myers and Donnie Edwards officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
