JEAN TOMLIN
HOPE, Ark.—Jean Ball Tomlin, 80, of McCaskill, Ark., died Thursday, May 31, 2018, at her home.
Mrs. Tomlin was born Aug. 11, 1937, in Florence, Ariz. She was a retired teacher with Hope Public Schools and a pianist and member of Pleasant Springs Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Tomlin.
Survivors include two sons, Beau Tomlin and Jason Tomlin of McCaskill; one daughter, Rebecca Tomlin of McCaskill; two grandsons, Keith Calhoun of Hope and Gage Dillard of Rosston, Ark.; five granddaughters, Haley Hinton of Blevins, Madeline Tomlin and Grace Langston of McCaskill and Miranda Tomlin and Emily Tomlin of Texarkana; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Pleasant Springs Baptist Church, McCaskill, with Jerrod Hendry officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery under direction of Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
