DeKALB, Texas—Dr. Alex J. Keller, 89, of DeKalb died Sunday, June 3, 2018, at his home. Dr. Keller was born Aug. 2, 1928, in Camden, N.J. He was a self-employed physician, a member of St. Mary of the Cenacle Catholic Church, New Boston, Texas, and a Korean War Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Harrington Keller. Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Mike Davis and Stacey and Don Jones of De Kalb and Kristy and Eric Walker of Fayetteville, Ark.; one son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Shannon Keller of Gunter, Texas; one sister, Mary McCarthy of New Jersey; one niece, Ginger Bill Monts of Texarkana, Ark.; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10 a.m. today at St. Mary of the Cenacle Catholic Church with the Rev. Michael Snider officiating. Burial will be in Woodmen Cemetery, DeKalb, Texas, under the direction of Bates Family Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to St. Mary of the Cenacle, 212 W.
