BETTIE RUNNELS

NASHVILLE, Ark.—Bettie Eloise Kesterson Runnels, 76, formerly of Umpire, Ark., died Monday, June 4, 2018, in Nashville. Mrs. Runnels was born May 7, 1942, in Umpire. She was a homemaker and a member of Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Delbert Runnels, in 2007; and two sons, John A. Runnels and Roger A. Runnels. Survivors include five children and four spouses, Kevin and Kim Runnels and Rene and Al Cantu of Texarkana, Michael Runnels of Nashville and Sheila Diane and Jim Venable and Timothy Michael and Terry Runnels of Center Point, Ark.; 25 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Fellowship Cemetery with Wesley Blankenship officiating. Burial will be under direction of Nashville Funeral Home.
