BARNEY FANNIN

NEW BOSTON, Texas—Barney LeRoy Fannin, 83, of Hooks, Texas, died Wednesday, June 6, 2018, in an Atlanta, Texas, nursing home. Mr. Fannin was born March 1, 1935, in San Pedro, Calif. He was retired from Red River Army Depot, a Master Mason, a member of Chapel of Light Church and an Air Force veteran. Survivors include his wife, Pauletta Fannin of Hooks; three sons, Kriss Fannin of Florida, Kenneth Fannin of Queen City, Texas, and Kyle Fannin of Hooks; one daughter, Karen Daniel McMillen of Texarkana, Texas; one stepdaughter, Angela Sladovnik of Royce City, Texas; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation is under direction of Bates-Rolf Funeral Home. Online registration is at batesrolffuneralhome.com.
