HAROLD MATHERLY

HOPE, Ark.—Harold L. Matherly, 69, of Bodcaw, Ark., died Friday, June 8, 2018, in a local hospital. Mr. Matherly was born July 17, 1948, in Brawley, Calif. He was a self-employed general contractor and a member of Union Baptist Church, Bodcaw. Survivors include his wife, Mary Harris Matherly of Bodcaw; one son and daughter-in-law, Jeremy and Brandi Matherly of Sterlington, La.; one sister, Juanita Murch of Bentonville, Ark.; one sister-in-law, Sharon Matherly of Bodcaw; three grandchildren, Cooper Matherly, Maddison Epps and Leanna Epps; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Union Baptist Church with Joe Brown officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery under direction of Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home.
