DeKALB, Texas—Muriel Eubanks Watson, 98, of Sulphur Springs, Texas, died Friday, June 8, 2018, in a local nursing home. Mrs. Watson was born July 9, 1919, in Mangum, Okla. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church, Sulphur Springs, Texas. She was preceded in death by two husbands, John Lemuel Eubanks and Otis Watson; and one daughter, Lois Johnette Eubanks. Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Lynnda Ell of Sulphur Springs and Jeanita and Larry Pruitt of DeKalb; four granddaughters, Melana Martin, Julie Lugar, Jayme Hammontree and Tammy Seabourn; three grandsons, John McCullough, Jason McCullough and Bart Pruitt; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Bates Family Funeral Home with John McCullough and Jason McCullough officiating. Burial will be in Woodmen Cemetery.
