Florence Butler

Florence Butler, 86, of Texarkana died Wednesday, June 6, 2018, in a local hospital. Mrs. Butler was born June 6, 1931, in Texarkana, Ark. She was a homemaker and a member of Greater Heights Ministries. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Albert E. Butler and Richard Williams; and one son, Donnell Williams. Survivors include two sons, Robert Lee Williams and Samuel Williams of Arizona; four stepdaughters including Latricia Williams of Arizona; seven stepsons; three brothers, Miller Paxton, Joe Paxton and Jeffery Paxton of Texarkana; one sister, Gracie Jordan of Texarkana; five grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Greater Heights COGIC with Donald Vaughn officiating. Burial will be in Cleveland Cemetery under direction of Lyles Funeral Home.
