HOPE, Ark.—Charles "Buzzard" McKamie, 64, of Hope died Wednesday, June 13, 2018, in Little Rock. Mr. McKamie was born June 15, 1953, in Hope. He was a truck driver with Hempstead County and a Baptist. Survivors include his wife, Vicki Shegonee McKamie of Hope; two stepsons, Steven Calhoun of Hope and Galyn Calhoun of Emmet, Ark.; three daughters, Kim Webb of Blevins, Ark., Charlene Lucey of Conway, Ark., and Brandi Schaefers of Mayflower, Ark.; two sisters, Debbie Cox of Guernsey, Ark., and Belinda Gaines of DeAnn, Ark.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home with Larry Brown officiating. Burial will be in Bright Star Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
