Alice Modene Scott

ALICE SCOTT ASHDOWN, Ark.—Alice Modene Scott, 90, of Ashdown died Saturday, June 16, 2018, in a Texarkana hospital. Mrs. Scott was born July 20, 1927, in Gainesville, Texas. She was a member of Wade Chapel Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lige Scott; three sons, Danny Scott, David Scott and Barry Scott; and one grandson, Chad O'Niel Mitchell. Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Carol Annette and George Dykes of Dillwyn, Va., and Linda Darlene and Jerry Mitchell and Rebecca Irene and Bobby Guthrie of Ashdown; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Madden Funeral Home with Kathryn Burchfield officiating. Burial will be in Arden Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
