Annette Rogers, 91, of Hope, Ark., died Sunday, June 17, 2018, in Texarkana. Mrs. Rogers was born Feb. 4, 1927. She was a secretarial assistant at Southwest-ern Proving Grounds and Military Airport of the Army Ordinance Corps, an editor at Hope Star Telegram and a Sunday school teacher at First Baptist Church, Hope. She was preceded in death by her husband, C.M. "Pod" Rogers Jr. of Hope. Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Brad Rogers of Hope and Douglas Edwin and Alice Rogers of Bryant, Ark.; one sister and brother-in-law, Marjorie Amonette and Carlton Chambers of Hideaway Lake, Texas; two grandchildren, Drew Rogers and Ryan Rogers; one great-grandchild, Cohen Samuel Rogers; six nieces; and six nephews. Services will be 3:30 p.m. today at First Baptist Church, Hope, with Daniel Bramlett and Stan Parris officiating. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery under the direction of Brazzel-Oakcrest Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the church following services. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 315 S.
