JERRY ORELL NEALY

Jerry Orell Nealy, 75, of Texarkana, Texas and formerly of De Queen, Arkansas passed away and went to be with his Lord on June 18, 2018, at a local hospital after suffering a heart attack. Jerry was born in Columbia, Pennsylvania on the 5th of June 1943, to the late Chester Orell and Edith Coffman Nealy. He attended Southern State College in Magnolia, Arkansas. In 1968, Jerry joined Willbros International for pipeline work in Colombia, South America. He continued overseas work for the next 44 years, working in many countries. He was a Baptist and member of Trinity Baptist Church. He was a 32nd Degree Mason. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Larry Eugene Nealy; and granddaughter, J.K. Nealy Hornsby. He is survived by his wife, Maria Nealy; brother, Donald Nealy, and wife Nancy; Three sons, Tracy Orell Nealy, and wife Patti, Luis Nealy and wife Heather, Shannan Nealy, and wife Michelle; Three Daughters, Carla Wahls and husband Jeff, Bonita George, Lynda Ashby and husband Michael. Grandchildren: Nicole Sharp and husband Dillon, Stephanie Cooley and husband Joel, Kaitlin Nealy, Lyndsey Nealy, Brionna George, Micheyla Nealy, Lauren Nealy, Madelyn Jones, Ellye Chilcoat and husband Mason, Kendyl Provence and husband Doug, Hannah Wahls, Josh Wahls, Madison Winchell, and Kayla Teague. Great-Grandchildren: Chanli Hornsby, Kylaa Provence, Avery Chilcoat, Adaleigh Winchell, and Solomon Lee Cooley. Funeral services will be 2 PM on Thursday June 21, 2018 at Chapelwood Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Saxby officiating. Burial will follow at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 PM at Chapelwood Funeral Home.
