RICHARD FLEMING

LINDEN, Texas—Richard Lewis Fleming, 85, of Linden died Sunday, June 17, 2018. Mr. Fleming was born June 28, 1932, in Troy, Maine. He was an Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Lillie Fleming of Linden; one son, Stephen Earl Fleming of Ashville, N.C.; two daughters, Rhonda Yap of Paris, Maine, and Gail Fleming of Ashville; four stepchildren, Jeff Butler, Lisa Buller, Vanessa Bordlee and Sandra Wagner; one sister, Phyllis Armstrong; one brother, Roger Fleming; 18 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Linden Seventh Day Adventist Church. Burial will be in Berea Cemetery, Jefferson, Texas, under direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home.
