BETTY LONG

Betty Kay Vanderbilt Long, 78, of Texarkana, Texas, died Tuesday, June 19, 2018, in a local nursing home. Mrs. Long was born Jan. 5, 1940 in Texarkana, Ark. She was a homemaker and a member of Eylau Christian Church. Survivors include her husband, Raymond Long of Texarkana; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Trisha Long and Greg and Kamie Long of Texarkana; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Pat Vanderbilt of Genoa, Ark., and Avery and Jaunice Vanderbilt of Fouke, Ark.; five grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Chapelwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Roy Freeman and Benjamin Long officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
