HOPE, Ark.—Malvin Henry, 80, of Rosston, Ark., died Thursday, June 14, 2018, in a Prescott, Ark., hospital. Mr. Henry was born Dec. 31, 1937. He was employed with Hope Brickyard, a pulpwood worker and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Henry; and one grandson, Andre Block. Survivors include six daughters, Shirley Gulley, Doris Evans, Janice Henry, Carmel Henry and Geneive Henry of Rosston and Etta Evans of Houston; four sons, Clifton Henry and Terry Henry of Rosston, Ronnie Henry of Bluff City, Ark., and Kenneth Henry of Little Rock; three sisters, Opal Jean Ingram of Rosston, Marie Gray of Texarkana and Bobbie Fletcher of Dallas; three brothers, Charles Lee and James Edward Gulley of Hope and Lee Edward Gulley of Prescott, Ark.; 25 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Rosston, with the Revs. L.C. Gilliam and Patrick Gulley officiating. Burial will be in New Salem Cemetery under direction of McFadden & Hitchye Funeral Home. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at the funeral home. Online registration is at mandhfuneral.com.
