RAYMOND DOVELL

NEW BOSTON, Texas—Raymond Clyde Dovell, 64, of New Boston, died Wednesday, June 20, 2018, in a local hospital. Mr. Dovell was born Aug. 28, 1953 in Hayward, Calif. He was a retired forklift operator with DLA, a member of Church on the Rock and an Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Becky Dovell of New Boston; one daughter, Kristy Shaw of Texarkana; two sons and daughters-in-law, Aaron and Ginger Dovell of New Boston and Elijah and Callie Dovell of Texarkana; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Pam and Marc Newton of Elk Grove, Calif., and Donna and Rob Harper of Lewiston, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Bates-Rolf Funeral Home. Burial will be in Daniels Chapel Cemetery, New Boston. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
