ARENE PATTEN

Arene Patten, 92, of Doddridge, Ark., died Friday, June 22, 2018. Mrs. Patten was born Nov. 29, 1925, in Doddridge. She was retired from Arkansas Forestry Service, a seamstress and a member of Crafters on Mission and Oak Grove Assembly of God Church, Doddridge. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Warren Patten; and one son, Ronnie Patten. Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Barbara LaFleur of Queen City, Texas, and Anita and C.C. Hicks and Kathy and Rick Endsley of Doddridge; one brother Dan Barnes; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Mount Zion Cemetery, Doddridge, with the Rev. Don Peek and Dr. David Holder officiating. Burial will be under direction of East Funeral Home, Downtown.
