Dena Ann McClaran Dunson

DeKALB, Texas—Dena Ann McClaran Dunson, 49, of New Boston, Texas, died Saturday, June 23, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Dunson was born Sept. 29, 1968, in Texarkana, Texas. She worked in childcare and was a member of Westside Missionary Baptist Church, New Boston. Survivors include her husband, Anthony Dunson of New Boston; one daughter, Kinsey Dunson of New Boston; two brothers, Larry McClaran and Ricky McClaran of New Boston; two cousins, Jane Forrester and Sue McClaran of New Boston; and a number of other relatives. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Westside Missionary Baptist Church with Shannon Doyen officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bates Family Funeral Home.
