PRESCOTT, Ark.—Florence "Flo" Palmer, 89, of Gurdon, Ark., died Monday, June 25, 2018, in a Hot Springs, Ark., hospice. Mrs. Palmer was born Aug. 16, 1928, in Shawmut, Ark. She was a retired beautician and owner of Palmer's Cake Shop. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Palmer. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Carline Palmer of Gurdon; one daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Eric Hittenrauch of Gurdon; three grandchildren, Holly Pridgen of Benton, Ark., Rusty Freeman of Little Rock and Brian Hittenrauch of Bismarck, Ark.; two great-granddaughters, Brooke Wordlaw of Oklahoma City and Morgan Watson of Gurdon; one great-great-grandson, Jaxston Watson of Gurdon; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church with the Revs. Travis Langley and Donnie Hudson officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Arkadelphia, Ark., under direction of Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday at the church.
