JOHN MORRIS

John Wayne Morris, 75, of Texarkana, Texas, died Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at a local hospice. Mr. Morris was born Oct. 3, 1942 in Old Boston, Texas. He was retired from Red River Army Depot, a member of Antique Tractor Club and Myrtle Springs Baptist Church and an Army National Guard veteran. Survivors include his wife, Sandra House Morris of Texarkana; one son, Duane Muller of Texarkana; one brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Venita Morris of Longview, Texas; one sister, Mary Paulsey of Conroe, Texas; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Virgil and Ruth House of Hooks, Texas; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Myrtle Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Kevin Schutte officiating. Burial will be in Ringwood Cemetery under direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
