Margaret Ann McCulloch was born December 18, 1936 at her home in Texarkana, TX. She passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Waterton Plaza in Texarkana after a lengthy illness. Margaret spent most of her formative years in Texarkana. She attended Patty Hill private school, Liberty Elementary and graduated from Texas High School in Texarkana in 1954. She attended Texarkana College and then went to work for General Telephone as an operator. She worked for her grandfather, then moved to Shreveport with her grandparents. The majority of her career was as payroll supervisor at Berg Mechanical Corporation in Shreveport, LA. When she retired in 1984, she relocated to Texarkana where she continued to work for various businesses. Artworks was her last place of employment which allowed her to pursue her passion for art. Margaret had a loving nature and cared for her grandmother Ma Akin, her mother Tommie and her father, Amos, until their deaths. She also cared for her sister, Sherry Ratcliff, until her own illness prevented further care. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Gordon and Virginia McCulloch and Virgil and Louise Akin; her mother, Tommie Louise Hickerson, and her father, Amos McCulloch, as well as beloved uncles and aunts. She is survived by her aunt and uncle, Ruth and Jean Webster; sisters, Sherry Ratcliff, Amy Farr, Karen Moody and brother, Buddy McCulloch; nieces Neely, Kristin, Jillian, Sarah; nephews Chris, Will and Alex and numerous great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by special friends Nancy Williamson, Sara Watson and Elaine McCafferty and many special cousins.
