DeKALB, Texas—Mildred Frances Forrester, 93, of New Boston, Texas, died Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Forrester was born March 18, 1925, in Birmingham, Ala. She was a retired Division Chief with Red River Army Depot, past Worthy Matron of Order of the Eastern Star, New Boston, attended Fellowship Sunday School and a member of Tapp United Methodist Church, New Boston. She was preceded in death by her husband, Trevor Forrester; one grandson, Lee Forrester; and one granddaughter, Kira Janney. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Mack and Teresa Forrester of Theodore, Ala., and Kevin and Jane Forrester of New Boston, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Glenda and Tommy Patterson of New Boston; three sisters-in-law, Glennis Boutwell of Texarkana, Barbara Hosey of New Boston and Carolyn Wilson of Longview, Texas; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Tapp United Methodist Church, New Boston, with the Rev. Tommy Earl officiating. Burial will be in Woodstock Cemetery under direction of Bates Family Funeral Home.
